Do I need an installation or account?
No installation or account is required. Open the measurement page and press Start. Workloads do not run automatically.
Why do scores change between runs?
Scores are reference values affected by browser, power mode and heat. Close other apps, connect power and keep this tab visible. Measurement pages have no ads.
Can I compare different score versions?
v1 and v2 are not directly comparable. Compare the same version, mode, GPU and AI backends and valid test set. Quick mode shows selected memory sizes. Temporary OPFS files are deleted after completion, cancellation or errors.
Can I measure without a GPU?
WebGPU allows graphics and parallel computation through the browser. Availability depends on browser, operating system, GPU and driver. Open the official HTTPS address, update to a stable browser release and restart it. If normal browser settings include hardware or graphics acceleration, check that setting and follow its restart instructions. Managed devices may require an administrator. Experimental flags or bypassing safety checks are not required. Graphics may fall back to WebGL2; compute and shader-f16 are separate capabilities, so some tests can still be excluded. AI can use a labeled WASM fallback. Unsupported GPU features do not prevent supported CPU and memory tests from running. Consult the linked MDN compatibility information for your environment.
How do quick and full modes differ?
Full mode runs every test; quick mode runs a representative selection. Compare the same mode because the test sets differ.
Are AI models downloaded automatically?
AI runs only after explicit consent to download models. It is off by default. Check the download sizes, memory and power requirements before choosing it.
Will AI files download again?
Downloaded from the public Hugging Face CDN after consent. Cached browser files are reused when available; storage limits or browser settings may require another download. Without WebGPU, results are marked as WASM fallback.
What happens if I switch tabs?
Waiting while the tab is hidden. The interrupted round restarts when you return.
Does the stress test measure temperature?
Higher stress scores mean faster performance. Watch how scores change over time to see how well performance is sustained. Compare runs with the same browser, power settings and heat conditions. Throttling is inferred from performance drops; temperature is not measured directly.
Can I save and share results?
Measurements run on your device. The latest 20 results stay in this browser and can be removed by clearing site data. Share results as PNG cards or links. Results are sent to the server only when you agree to ranking registration. With your consent, we store and publish the result ID, formula version, overall and category scores, multicore ratio, detected GPU name and core count, OS and browser families, and submission time. Typed model names, raw IP addresses and raw User-Agent strings are not stored. Rate limiting uses only a daily salted hash. Bot protection connects to Cloudflare Turnstile.
Why do scores differ between browsers?
Browsers use different JavaScript engines, graphics APIs and security policies, so scores vary even on the same device. Start a browser battle from a shared link to compare detailed measurements and execution environments.
